To me who was a child at that time

I've been covering the places where the tsunami happened, but I've never had a chance to talk to young people. What do they think of as children at the time? I wanted to know what the tsunami brought to them.
I photographed them with double exposure.

To me who was a child at that time
Yu Sasaki 20 years old. Minamisanriku, Miyagi. 18 Feb 2019. Yu is a carpenter. The tsunami hit Minami Sanriku when he was 12 years old. At that time, he was in school and started refuge at school. He didn't see it when the tsunami happened, but he remembers hearing a great thunderous sound. After that, he met a college student who was a volunteer in Minamisanriku, which had a great influence on his life. The encounter made Yu think of helping other disasters in the region if they needed help.
