To me who was a child at that time
Eight years have passed since the massive tsunami hit the Tohoku region of Japan. The town that was damaged by the tsunami was renewed and the number of lights in the town increased. To me who was a child at that time
Yuzuki Satou 19 years old. Onagawa, Miyagi. 6 Feb 2019. Yuzuki is a civil servant in the town. The tsunami struck Onagawa when he was ten years old. Yuzuki evacuated, but at that time he thought he could go home soon. He had the opportunity to write poems after the tsunami and wrote, "Onagawa will not be swept away by the tsunami, but will be reborn as a new Onagawa." It was chosen as the slogan of the town. The slogan made him stay in Onagawa, where there are few jobs, and decided to work in the town hall. And he came to think about the future of Onagawa.
